GPA Requirements
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred, but will consider juniors only at 2.8 or 2.9 with two recent terms at or above the 3.0 level.

Length of Term
12-week semester, plus 4 days of orientation

Term Dates
Last week of September to mid-December (Fall option only)

Places Available
Five places are available Fall term

Accomodations
Students live in Ramsay Hall, a dorm that is a short walk (3 minutes) to the UCL academic buildings.

Coursework
Students are admitted into the department of their option or to an equivalent department. Economics students can be admitted into Statistical Sciences and take courses in the UCL Economics department. Students MUST take at least two courses (one course = .5 UCL unit = 4 CIT credits) or equivalent in the admitting department, a related field of science or engineering, or in a humannities or social science subject provided they have appropriate background in the field. These courses should be .5 unit each or the equivalent.

There are no Wednesday afternoon classes at UCL, as Wednesdays are reserved for sports & games.

Note: Students may not return to the U.S. during the semester abroad, as there is no mid-semester break.
