GPA Requirements
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA required, but will consider students at 2.8 level.

Length of Term
13-week semester with a 4-day break, and one-week of orientation

Term Dates
3^rd week of September to 3^rd week of December

Places Available
Five places are available Fall term only

Accomodations
Students will live in the Pollock Halls of Residence. The Pollock Hall complex is located by the beautiful Holyrood Park and is a half-mile from the city center and within walking or biking distance of the university.

Coursework
Students are admitted into the department of their option and must take at least two courses or equivalent in the department equivalent to their option.  The other two to three courses can be selected from any course offered by the College of Science and Engineering or the College of Humanities and Social Sciences provided the student has appropriate background.  Students take a total of 60 to 80 Edinburgh credits, which is equivalent to minimum of 36 Caltech units.
